Can a Student with Compartment in Class 12 Board Examination apply for Admission in Delhi University (DU)?

Absolutely, if you have failed in one or two subjects in Class 12 Board Exams and you need to appear in Compartment examination, you can still apply for taking admission in UG courses of DU. But, there is a condition. DU has a certain time limit. You must clear your compartment examination and the marks for the same should be updated on the admission portal of university within stipulated time limit.

If you have yet not appeared in the Class 12 compartment examination or have applied for re-evaluation, you can choose “Result Awaited” option on the portal of Delhi University. After announcement of result, you need to update the same. In a situation where you fail to update your marks within the stipulated time limit, your candidature will be cancelled.

Looking at the prevailing condition of COVID-19, not a single board, has conducted compartment examination yet this year. That is also making students with compartment anxious a bit. If you are due to appear in compartment, you can register for DU Admission 2020. CBSE has already declared that they will conduct Class 12 Compartment Examination after consulting Indian government, when the situation becomes conducive.
