Number of Attempts allowed in Class 12 Bihar Board Exams


BSEB (Bihar School Examination Board) has already made a name for itself by bringing in transparency and following strict discipline during the examination process. Gone are the days when the board used to be in the news due to use of unfair means by its students during board examination. Bihar Board is now known for quick declaration of Board examination result. Today, we will discuss about number of attempts that are allowed to students who fail in Bihar Board Annual Examination.


Students who fail in Class 12 Bihar Board Annual Exam usually get 3 more attempts to clear it. For example- If a student fails in Class 12 Bihar Board Annual Exam 2020, he can appear in BSEB Compartmental Exam 2020 exercising his first attempt. If he fails again, he can appear again in Class 12 Bihar Board Annual Exam 2021 exercising their second attempt. On failing again, he can exercise his third attempt and appear in BSEB Compartmental Exam 2021.

It should be noted here that if a student chooses not to appear in Compartmental Exam of 2020 and instead appear in the Bihar Board Annual Exam 2021. He is free to do so and their first attempt will be accordingly the Annual exam of 2021. They can then sit in the compartmental exam of 2021 as their second attempt.
                        

It must be noted here that when a student clears his Class 12 Bihar Board Exam in two attempts, divisions are mentioned in his result. A student who clears exam in the third attempt does not get division in his result.

Number of attempts allowed to a student who have failed in annual exam to clear his examination is limited to three in Bihar Board.

UPSC Prelims 2024 postponed due to Lok Sabha Election

  Election commission of India has declared the dates for Lok Sabha election 2024. The general election will be conducted in seven phases throughout the country.
