Starting this year, IGNOU has changed the procedure for obtaining study material. Earlier, students of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) could visit their respective study centre and obtain study material, sent from university. Now, process of dispatch of study materials has been centralised. IGNOU will now send study materials directly to students through registered post. How to check IGNOU study material dispatch status? The NCERT ( National Council of Educational Research and Training ) has released the notification for one of the most competitive exams at the class 10 level i.e. NTSS (National Talent Search Scheme) or NTSE 2018-19 . This exam is conducted in two stages. First stage of the exam is conducted by respective states. Qualified students then appear for the second stage, which is conducted by NCERT at the national level.

NCERT has released the notification for the National Talent Search Examination 2018-2019. NTSE is a scholarship test which is conducted at two stages namely Stage 1 and Stage 2 . Stage 1 is conducted at the state level by respective states/union territories. Candidates shortlisted in Stage 1 from different states then qualify for the second stage of the scholarship examination. The National Talent Search Examination ( NTSE ) is a national level scholarship test which is conducted by NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) every year. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched an android app i.e. ‘ IGNOU e-Content’ to help millions of its students all across the country in accessing digital study material for different courses. In its bid to promote adoption of digital study material over physical study material, recently IGNOU announced to waive off 15 percent fee of students opting for the former. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)  has  come up with a unique offer for millions of its students all across the country. In a recent press release, it has announced that the university has  digitized the study material of different  programmes  offered by it. Students can access  these digitized study materials  from  eGyankosh , the digital repository of the university. In order to encourage use of digital study material, university is also offering to  refund 15% of  programme  fee  to students opting for it instead of printed study material.
