Blueprint of Bihar Board Class 12 Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths

What is the Blueprint of PCMB? You must be wondering to find the answer to this question if you are going to appear in Bihar board exams in 2024. For the last few years, BSEB has kept the pattern of board exam unchanged. In 2018, board had introduced major changes to help students score high. In this post, we will provide you the blueprint of class 12 Bihar board science stream subjects i.e. physics chemistry biology and maths paper.
                                                                                    
No change in the Marks Distribution
BSEB has not announced any change in the marks distribution of different subjects. Though, question pattern has been changed twice - 2017-18 and 2018-19, marks distribution of different chapters in a given subject will remain the same. Model papers of the upcoming exams can be obtained from the official website of the BSEB. Students should solve these papers. Blueprint of Bihar Board Class 12 Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths

Many students have asked us to provide the blueprint of different subjects for BSEB intermediate exam. As mentioned above, marks distribution of different chapters will remain same as that of last year. Number of objective questions, short answer (SA) or long answer (LA) type questions from a given chapter can vary. In this post, we are going to provide the proposed blueprint of the science stream subjects. (Also Read: How to Prepare Physics for Class 12 Board Exams?)
The blueprints given below are strictly based on the model papers published on the BSEB official website. Please note that BSEB may change blueprint in the board exam, but will keep marks distribution from an individual chapter same.

    The LAQ in physics will be asked only from 3 unit that is given above. Is it a confirm report?

      The above blueprint is strictly based on BSEB official website notification. Though, question Paper can bear LAQs from other units too but Marks distribution will remain same from each chapter.

      Hi Mohit, above information are strictly based on BSEB notification. As in chemistry the details were not much clearer, we avoided it. But in future, if BSEB comes up with clear details in it, the same will be updated here. There will be 3 long type questions.

    In maths from relation and function total markes is 10
    And
    8 objectives and 3 short answer type
    Then total marks is 16

      Hi Muskan, in short type section, 22 questions will be asked and you need to answer only 15 out of them. Hence, in Blueprint it appears that some units are carrying abnormal marks. The above blueprint is strictly based on information provided by BCECE and we have tried our best to keep it error free.

      Marks distribution should remain same as mentioned above as it is similar to that of CBSE. But, blueprint can change.

Pass Marks in Class 12 Bihar Board Exams

Bihar Board Exams, either of Class 10 or Class 12, have undergone massive changes in terms of question paper pattern over the last couple of years.
