Why new exam pattern has been introduced?
In 2017, only about 50 percent students had passed class 10 Bihar board exams. BSEB aims to improve this number in coming years. New pattern has been designed in a way that will benefit meritorious students in obtaining more than 90 percent in the exam, which was very difficult earlier. In recent months, BSEB has taken many crucial steps to improve the education system in the state.

Sent-up Examination
BSEB has asked every school to conduct sent-up examination. This exam will be based on the new pattern and will help students in getting familiar with the latest changes. It is mandatory for students to pass in the sent-up examination in order to appear in the annual class 10 Bihar board exams.
