ReplyDeleteObviously, the above mentioned topics are important and questions based on them have been asked frequently. I will suggest you to complete these topics and also go through last 5 year papers.
DeleteSir maine ab tk kuch v ni padha padh raha hu but smjh ni aa raha h abb plz..sir aisa btai jisse pass kr jau mai
DeletePrevious year paper should be solved. Try to focus on modern Physics and Optics.
DeleteHello sir...
ReplyDeleteI am Devansh Raj....
I had completed my whole physics from hc Verma is it enough to score 50+/70 in it? Should I make Arihant previous year question now for practice?
Plz reply as soon as you read this...
Thankyou....
Hi Devansh,
DeleteYour preparation is in right direction. Please ensure that you have covered all NCERT topics. Yes, if your theory portion is complete, then look to solve sample papers now. It will boost your preparation tremendously and will sharpen your question solving speed and skills.
sir i should study ncert or sl arora fr cbse board exams I find ncert physics quite boring..what shud I do
ReplyDeleteNCERT should never be ignored. Cover all NCERT topics, you can take help of reference books of any publication for it.
DeleteSir, I'm a 4 subject failure.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me how do I pass my boards which are 2 months away?
Specifically Phy & Chem.
And any tip for Bio?
& if I solve Maths from RD Dharma will that be enough?
How to increase speed in English?
Two months are enough to secure at least passing marks in board exams. Solve last 10 year question papers. Focus on revision to avoid forgetting learned chapters. If you are finding NCERT difficult, prepare important topics through notes. Solve sample papers regularly to feel confident and to increase your speed.
DeleteSir I'm a 5 subject failure.
ReplyDeleteWhat should I do for Phy & Chen?
How do I start?
In this post, I can reply regarding Physics only. For Chemistry, ask your queries on respective post.
DeleteDon't lose hope, you will get good marks, provided you study well from now. If you find numericals difficult, leave them for now. Start from modern Physics. Optics, Semiconductor, Current and Electricity, Atom and Nuclei are easier but important chapters. Learn chapters in which you are comfortable. Solve previous year papers and sample papers and you will start feeling confident.
sir ,
ReplyDeletehow to study RAY OPTICS n WAVE OPTICS (each) in a single day?
i'm really lagging behind in physics.
what are the important areas i should target to get 30-40/70 in BOARDS
Syed, if you want to complete these chapters in a single day then you need to study these from notes or it is almost a very huge task to complete these chapters from NCERT in a single day. And these two carry 14 marks so you need to prepare them well too.
DeleteFor getting 30 or more, complete optics and modern physics first then look for current and electricity. These are easier but very important ones.
sir' i have got compartment in physics in march 2016 exam now can u tell me how to prepare for this exam m really bad in this subject and the time period is also short it will me a great if u will let me know
ReplyDeleteIf you are weaker in numericals then look to complete modern physics first. Chapters like Semiconductor, Optics, Atoms and Nuclei etc are important and a bit easier. Solve previous year papers too, you will feel confident.
DeleteSir, I have my physics exam on 15th March.. Till now I have the knowledge of theoretical problems only. How should I proceed further as only 1 half month is left.. I want to score about more than 50/70 is it possible?
ReplyDeleteIf you have command over theory then you can do well in numericals too, provided you practice them regularly. I will suggest you to start solving previous year papers along with sample papers and you will surely get desired marks.
DeleteOnly 1 half month is left for exam and ihn nt prepared anything i weak in numericals i cant solve a single numerical...plz help me in getting passing marks...plz
ReplyDeleteModern Physics will be ideal for you to prepare in one month time and it does not involve too much numericals also. Solve last 10 year question papers.
DeleteWill i get pass by doing so..?
DeleteSurely, but you must put forward hard work now.
DeleteWhich all chapters i should concentrate more to get in 30's?
ReplyDeleteI am literally scared
Modern Physics, Optics, Current and Electricity, EM Waves and solve last 10 year question papers.
Deletesir which is known as modern physics
ReplyDeleteModern physics includes dual nature of radiation, atom and nuclei and semiconductor. Prepare optics carefully it carries 14 marks. These are easier and important chapters for the class 12 board exams.
DeleteSir..is this much topics are enough to score about 30 marks?
ReplyDeleteAbove topics are very important and you cannot ignore them. Still you have three weeks and I will suggest you to finish at least couple of chapters from Modern Physics and you will do well in your upcoming paper.
DeleteSir oswal sample paper is good or not for getting passing marks in physics
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a good sample paper. Also solve previous year papers.
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteI'm really scared. what should i study in physics to just pass in it(
Go through above topics. Still you have few weeks, try to cover optics, modern physics and current and electricity which are easier ones. Solve previous year papers.
DeleteI have only done these topics mentioned here and have mugged up 5 years. how much marks can I expect??
ReplyDeleteWonderful. You have couple of weeks left for your exam. Revise these topics regularly and also try to read couple of chapters from modern physics. Above topics are just for getting passing marks. Solving previous year papers will surely help you.
DeleteSir
ReplyDeletePresent day i have no preparation for exam what should i do for gain good marks in physics
If you have not prepared for your exam till now, go through above topics and last 5 year question papers. Don't lose hope, work hard and you can still get passing marks.
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteI am giving physics improvement exam this year along with maths and English. I got 88 in english, 44in maths and 58 in physics last year. I only wanted to fill for maths as I got less marks in as you may know last years question paper was a total blunder, but my sister forced me to fill physics also. I have improved and practiced my maths a lot but its a different case for physics. I just need to get the passing marks in physics though last years marks are not that great but still. Since less time is left only about 15 days what should I study and most importantly what should be the study material(book)
Read above mentioned topics. Practice previous year papers. Focus more on modern physics and Optics as they are bit easier to prepare. You will easily pass in your upcoming paper. You can take help of Xam idea.
DeleteThanks and I appreciate that there are people like you who help students and decrease their mental pressure..
DeleteMy exam is on 15. Those topics are actually a whole lot of burden to cover (my bad, wasted the whole year). BUT Really I am surprised to see that such helpful people like you exist. THANKS MY FRIEND, MAY GOD BLESS YOU !!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your appreciation Abheet. Still you have couple of weeks and you can easily get passing marks. Don't take much stress and focus on your target.
Deletein cbse boards they asks idirectly ques and very few days are left for the boared exam ..how preparatio can be done?
ReplyDeleteNow when few days are left, it is not possible to prepare NCERT line by line but you can prepare important topics from notes.
DeleteHey Sir !
ReplyDeleteI have 10 days left for my physics board exam and i am scared really very scared as i am a PCB student i need to score 40-45 marks in the subject please help me guide me ! Please Sir Reply as soon as possible as i don't have much time left
Hi Devansh,
DeleteNow when you don't have enough time, it is wise to prepare NCERT topics through notes. If you are not good in numericals, focus on Optics and Modern Physics. Go through last 10 year question papers.
Sir i have not studied single thing yet. I was sick. Got dengue. Sir please tell me i just want 23 marks at any cost. Tell plse
ReplyDeleteFollow above mentioned topics and tips. Try to read Optics and Modern Physics through notes as you don't have enough time now. Go through previous year papers. You can still pass in your paper. Don't take much stress.
DeleteSir, I want to score overall 80-85% in class 12 board.I am a PCB student and I am very weak in physics. so I want to know that how much marks should I score in each subject to get the expected percentage. Please reply
ReplyDeleteIf you are weak in Physics then you must try to score above 90 in couple of other subjects to get over 80 percent. In Physics marks above 30 will be good.
DeleteI am only 5 days away from my physics exam. I just want to pass... even 23 is enough for me... can i get 23 marks from these topics. Also, it would be helpful if you could tell me the important derivations from Ray and Wave optics. Anything else that I could do? Please reply before my physics exam. Moreover, please give me tips how to write exam sheet so as to make the most marks out of my knowledge. Thank you very much for giving hope...
ReplyDeleteYou should go through above topics and last 5 year question papers to secure at least passing marks and to get some idea about important questions. Try to answer those questions first in which you feel confident. Try to attempt maximum questions.
DeleteI have done a few derivations. Are there any important derivations which i must learn...
DeleteDon't limit your preparation only to derivation. Some important ones have been listed above. Look to cover other topics from Optics, Modern Physics and semiconductor as well in remaining couple of days.
DeleteHey!
ReplyDeleteI have my physics exam on 15th march i am very bad at physics i thought of doing the above mentioned topics as well as last 10 years papers how much marks will this much help me get??
It should at least fetch you passing marks if not more.
DeleteSir i wanted to know dat if i study only the important topics which iz written in bold lines will i able to pass??
ReplyDeletePhysics is not that easy paper, you should look to prepare as many topics as you can to secure the magic number of 23
DeleteI hve only 4 days what more topics should i do
DeleteApart from above topics and previous year papers, look to study Modern Physics, semiconductor and current and electricity which are bit easier. Study these chapters from notes as you don't have enough time and you will do good.
DeleteSir. Im very much tensed what to study. When i saw previous year questions its mostly application questions. I don't know what to study. Can you please guide me? Also if possible a timetable? Exam is on 15th.and how do i score minimum 55% marks?
ReplyDeleteThat's why it is important to understand particular topic. Now you do don't have much time so look to go through previous year papers and above topics which are asked frequently. If possible focus more on Modern Physics.
DeleteBy doing these topics how many makrs i will get ?
ReplyDeleteAbove topics have been frequently asked in the past 10 years and they should help you to secure at least passing marks if not more. But, ultimately it depends on question paper. Look to revise as many topics as possible.
Deletesir which lesson carry or from which lessons does numericals comes the most............and which chapter have a max possibility of numerical questions .........
ReplyDeleteIt is not certain, yet Optics is the most important one as it carries 14 marks.
DeleteSir, is arihant chapterwise PYQ book enough To score atleast passing marks in Physics Exam ?
ReplyDeleteIt is a helpful book for tracking frequently asked questions and their pattern. Cannot predict whether it will be useful to get passing marks or not as it depends on question paper.
DeleteHello sir...
ReplyDeleteMy physics exam is just 4 days away and I don't know anything about it....By reading the above topics & previous 5 years question papers can I get pass marks at least .?
Plz help me sir...
In addition to it, also focus on Modern Physics and Semiconductor which are bit easier and can be prepared easily in remaining days.
DeleteCbse physic exam is on 15 march 2017.. Will this chapters staed above will help in 2017 physics examination??
ReplyDeletePS: Have no idea about numericals.. So after skipping it.. Please replyy fasttt
You can skip numericals now. Focus on above topics and Modern physics. Don't take stress, numericals carry only 15 marks approximately.
DeleteCan I leave the chapter AC?
ReplyDeleteYes, you can leave it as it is a bit difficult chapter and you should not waste time in this chapter now when couple of days are left. AC generator is important, take a look at it.
DeleteSir i have completed only emw, modern physics & communication system chapter. Will i pass my exam. Sir and one more thing do cbse give grace marks to students who get 15 to 18 marks in theory. Plse reply accordingly..
ReplyDeleteYour strategy is correct. Grace marks of 3 to 5 marks are awarded but it depends on the board.
DeleteSir, the chapters which i am revising only can bring me passing marks, i.e Emw, Modern Physics & Communication System. Plse tell.
ReplyDeleteYes, they can get you passing marks
Deletesir i have done ray optics but i have no idea about wave optics wat to do
ReplyDeleteLeave it and focus more on Modern Physics. Wave Optics is vast and will consume time. Though you can prepare selective topics from it which have been mentioned above.
DeleteSir I haven't studied anything yet. There is only one day left for exam.
ReplyDeleteWhat should I do?
I have only studied transformer , Kirchhoff's law and internal resistance.
Which topics I should go for?
Topics are mentioned above. Try to take a look at Modern Physics, semiconductor etc. Look to study from notes. Just two days are left and it really depends on you now to study even harder.
DeleteSir can you please list down all the important *definitions*
ReplyDeleteZahid, its really tough to summarise important definitions that too from Physics as they are not frequently asked. Instead, when you will prepare all important topics, this area will be covered automatically.
DeleteSir can we mug up emw, modern physics & communication system chapters in 1 day. Plse tell accordingly.
ReplyDeleteIt depends entirely on your ability. You should prepare through notes now.
Deletehi , i have my exam tommorow can u please list important topics for dual nature and em waves also , thanks in advance :)
ReplyDeleteDual nature of matter should be understood entirely through notes as you don't have enough time. In EM waves, wavelength and frequency along with uses of waves should be learnt.
DeleteTry to cover above mentioned topics and chapters both to secure good marks. You can leave numericals and derivations. Study Modern Physics through notes.
DeleteDo we have to pass in theory and practicals separately or is it combined and then seen ?
ReplyDeleteYes, you need to obtain 23 in theory separately
DeleteSir. Can you please explain me what to exactly study from semiconductors (Electronic devices)
ReplyDeletePlease tell me important topics from this chapter. Im totally confused
It is a big but bit easier and important chapter. Focus on topics like diode, rectifier, zener diode, LED, Transistor as amplifier and switch, Logic gates, photodiode, solar cell
DeleteSir my exam is tomorrow I am so nervous coz compared to other subjects I am a bit weak like very weak in physics I have covered optics em waves dual nature AC atoms and nuclei semi conductors and magnetism but I have left emi, current electricity and electrostatics I am not that strong with numericals either and I am so nervous because its difficult for me to remember all these derivations becoz I keep forgetting them what should I do.
ReplyDeleteYou have covered enough chapters just revise them now. Don't learn new chapters and topics as you don't have enough time. You can leave numericals and derivations now. Focus on learned chapters only.
DeleteIs the 2017 paper gonna be tough? I am so scared. According to few websites since last years paper was remotely easy this years will be tough. Is that true? I am losing my mind. Moreover the sample paper is so tough. And will it follow the blue print given online? I am so scared what should I do?
ReplyDeleteYour focus should be on preparation. Whatever be the question paper, your goal should be extract good marks. Don't worry about rumours.
DeleteSo will the sample paper matter? And the blueprint...?
DeleteYes, will boost your preparation and marks distribution will remain same
DeleteSir I have done modern physics from arihant chapter wise solved papers book. And also I have practiced gauss's theorem, biot- savart's law, krichoff's rules, potentiometer, meter bridge, ac generator, transformer, and cyclotron. Out of all these atoms and nucleli is weak for me. Will I still pass even if atoms and nuclei is weak but all the other topics I've mentioned above is thorough? Please comment asap sir!
ReplyDeleteAtom and Nuclei are important ones. If possible, prepare them from notes. Focus more on Modern Physics and keep revising learned topics.
DeleteOkay sir. Apart from atoms and nuclei is my preparation fine sir? I am actually very nervous since this is my compartment paper. I cannot fail again. So will I pass this time? Thank you for your time!
DeleteIf you have prepared Modern Physics well, you should get good marks
DeleteOkay sir! Thank you very much!
DeleteAlso sir will my compartment exam paper tomorrow be the same as all normal students giving the exam?
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteOkay sir thank you! Are the normal question paper usually easier than the compartment? Actually I'm really scared sir, sorry for bothering you so much.
DeleteIt is uncertain. All question papers are on same pattern. Feel free to ask your queries on Exams Hub facebook page by messaging us. Best of Luck
DeleteSir numericals mostly come from which area as in like which all chapters so thati can just practice them thoroughly
ReplyDeleteIt is not certain, can be asked from any chapter
Deletesir, m really really weak in physics...few hours r left for d exam i hve preaprd electrostat, Semiconductrs, magnetism,em are dey enough to get passing marks
ReplyDeleteYou have prepared some of the important units and they are enough to pass. It would be good if you try to prepare few topics from Modern Physics also through notes, if you have time.
Deletesir can u plz mention those chap....
DeleteDual nature of radiation, Atom and Nuclei
DeleteSir does cbse pass upon getting 18-20 marks?
ReplyDeleteIt depends entirely on CBSE, most likely grace marks is given
DeleteOkay sir! Thank you!
DeleteSir,
ReplyDeleteDo board gives grace marks, and marks for just attempting the question.
Your answer should be according to question also
DeleteAnd grace marks are In the range of?
Delete3 to 5 marks
DeleteSir ,I have six subjects so will my physics marks be counted while taking best of five?
ReplyDeleteYes, Physics is a compulsory subject
DeleteBut my combination is pcb ip and ped and also I'm gonna take food science as UG course ...so will they still see my phy marks?
DeleteStill your marks of Physics will be counted
Deletefeom which lessions cam we expect pakka 5 marks questions
ReplyDeleteIt is not certain. Hence, it is better to focus on chapters which carry more marks, because 5 marks questions are frequently asked from them.
DeleteSir, I have only 2 months.how should i prpepare to score 40/70.i have completed only electrostatic, magnetsim and current electricity.
ReplyDeleteStart preparing optics and modern physics, they are vital.
DeleteHi, I'm a student of batch 2016-2017. I wrote my CBSE board exams this year (2017) but I couldn't clear physics and chemistry. I'm reappearing in 2018. And I'm literally scared because physics is my weak subject and I haven't prepared anything. There's only 2months left and I'm so scared. Please guide me through this. All I need is 30marks that's all. And I heard 2018 physics question paper might be tough since this is the last year of this portions, and new portions will be formed in 2018. Is it true? Please reply
ReplyDeleteDon’t believe in rumours. CBSE has not announced anything about it yet. Prepare Optics and Modern Physics well and you will easily hit your target.
DeleteSir, there's only 2 months left and I haven't even touched physics, all I need is 35marks in theory. Will the above topics help me to score 35marks in physics?
ReplyDeleteWe have targeted at least 23 marks with above topics. Focus more on Optics and Modern Physics to reach your target.
DeleteSir I have done derivations and definitions and related theory from my notes for 1st book chapters and I want to know that by doing only derivations and definitions will I pass as previous year board papers are mostly application based and I have 1 and half months remaining for board exams so I don't have time to understand each chapter also I have done modern physics from my notes please tell sir is it necessary to do questions from any other book or notes are sufficient.
ReplyDeletePrepare Optics and Modern Physics well. If you understand topics from notes comfortably then stick with it. Solve previous year papers and sample papers to get idea of Application based and HOTS questions which are frequently asked nowadays. Keep revising learned topics.
DeleteBy reading all this stuff mentioned above and some theory nd derivations how much can i score..??
ReplyDeleteAt least passing marks should be achieved
DeleteHello sir,
ReplyDeleteMy exam is on 7 March cbse and I want to pass the subject. I was searching of passing material that I got here, let's see what happens, I'll post my rest here.
Thanks a lot
Best of luck, Rishu
DeleteSir last five year all india ka paper kr lunga to pass kar jaunga ....
ReplyDeleteIt should help you

DeleteSir mai only all india perivious 5 year bnaya hu...isse pass kar jaunga...??
DeleteIt should help you.
DeleteSir I am unable to do ray and wave what should I do pls help me out ...
ReplyDeleteSolve previous year papers as only a week is left in examination
DeleteHi sir, I have prepared all derivations of all chapters , just i have left AC chapter but from.that i have studied transformer. I have learnt most of the theory questions asked in Last 10 years. But i m.not prepared with numericals. And conceptual questions. And i not feeling confident that even i will pass inspite of doing all this! Modern physic, Optics derivation and theory of almost chapters. Is this enough to score 23 +? if Yes. thn plz tell me also how much i can score an estimation.
ReplyDeleteSir, I have Pre board exam physics I didnt prepared.. .. 4 days left whole portions are there how to get pass mark in physics
ReplyDeleteSolve previous 5 year papers, especially 5 Marks questions. If possible, read Modern Physics, Current and Semiconductor. Time is less so solve Previous Year Question Papers first
DeleteHlw sir please suggest me few important question and topic for board exam 2020-2021 to pass
ReplyDeleteI would recommend you to solve previous 05 year question paper first. Topics and chapters have been mentioned in another post “How to Pass in Physics in Class 12”, read that
DeleteHow I can score 50+ out of 70 in physics
ReplyDeleteIf your preparations are good then it’s not that difficult. But if you have just started then have a realistic target. For 50+ you should look to cover almost all units. Practice mock papers and revise regularly.
DeleteI'm wondering if this will help me for 2021 boards, it's almost a month away and I've not started ANYTHING yet, and I was weak in mathematics (PCB student)
ReplyDeleteRitesh sir iam in class 12 I have to only pass in physics what can I do. ethhier iam very poor in mathematics
ReplyDeleteAnd I can not effort to understand the whole physics till now
Give me some suggestions sir
Start by solving previous 5 year papers. And follow topics mentioned above
Delete
