CBSE will conduct All
India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test in 2015 for the 15%
MBBS and BDS seats in the government Medical and Dental colleges of
India. CBSE has already released a
press release regarding it on the official website of AIPMT. With this press
release it is very much clear now that there will be no NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) now and students must
start preparing themselves for the AIPMT.

2015 Exam Date & Application Form
AIPMT
2015 will be conducted by CBSE on 3rd May 2015 (Sunday).
CBSE will release the AIPMT 2015 Application form in the first week of
December. Candidates can apply for the Medical entrance exam through online
mode. The Application form of AIPMT 2015 would be available on its official
website i.e. www.aipmt.nic.in.
Eligibility
Criteria for AIPMT 2015
1)
Candidate must be an Indian
National and should fall in the age group of 17 to 25 years. He must
be 17 years old till the end of 31 December 2015. The upper age limit i.e. 25
years will be relaxed by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC
category.
2)
Candidates from Jammu & Kashmir and
Andhra Pradesh must submit an affidavit if they want to participate in the
AIPMT 2015 for the 15% All India Quota Seats because these two states have
opted to remain out of All India Scheme. You will find more information
regarding it in the prospectus of AIPMT.
3) Candidates
belonging to General category must have passed in Biology, Chemistry, Physics
and English individually in the qualifying examination and have obtained at
least 50% aggregate marks in these subjects.
4)
SC, ST and OBC candidates must secure
40% marks in the Chemistry, Physics and Biology while physically handicapped general
category candidates must obtain 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
Pattern
of AIPMT 2015 Question Paper
According to the latest
press release of CBSE, the pattern of AIPMT 2015 will remain same as that of
AIPMT 2014 and there will also be no change in the question pattern of the
Medical entrance examination.
1)
AIPMT 2015 question paper will consist
of 180 questions. 90 questions will be from Biology while 45 questions will be
asked each in Chemistry and Physics.
2)
Each question of AIPMT 2015 will carry 4
marks while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. 180 questions will
carry 720 marks.
3)
The duration of the entrance exam will
be of 3 hours.
Syllabus
of AIPMT 2015
The syllabus of AIPMT
2015 is same as that of AIPMT 2014. You can download the syllabus of the
Medical entrance exam from the official website of AIPMT.

Number of Medical Seats
CBSE conducts AIPMT to
fill 15% MBBS and BDS seats in different Medical and Dental colleges of India. Though
CBSE has not officially declared it, according to Hindi newspaper “Hindustan” only 2200-3000 Medical seats
and 300
Dental seats are filled through this Medical entrance examination.
AIPMT releases two
ranks i.e. All India Rank and State Rank. Through State Rank
candidates can take admission in the Medical Colleges of AIPMT member states
like Madhya
Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, etc provided they have
the domicile of the native state. One can find the list of AIPMT member states
on its official website.
Candidates can also
take admission in the prestigious Medical Colleges of India like AFMC and BHU based on AIPMT All India Rank.
Result
of AIPMT 2015
Generally CBSE releases
the result of AIPMT 2015 in the first week of June. Candidates can download
their result from the official website of AIPMT and CBSE.
