KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik
Protsahan Yojana) is one of the most popular exams in India in which
tens of thousands of students from different classes say class 11 and 12,
B.Sc. and M.Sc. appear every year. Indian government started this
competitive exam to help meritorious students financially so that they can
complete their higher studies without any difficulties. Only students studying
in the Science stream can appear in the KVPY Aptitude Test. What is the

knowledge of the candidate, KVPY written exam will examine your understanding

How to Prepare for KVPY Aptitude Test?

There is no prescribed
syllabus for the KVPY hence your preparation should be mainly focused on
syllabus of class 10 and 12 or 1st year
of B.Sc. and M.Sc. whichever is applicable. For
example if you are in class 11 then your questions will be mainly from class
10.

If you are going to appear in
the online test, you must take mock aptitude test on the KVPY
official website very seriously.

For cracking KVPY aptitude
test, you must clear your basic concepts. Try to cover NCERT syllabus
first before looking for other reference books.

Try to solve more and more
objective questions from Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics to increase
your question solving speed.

In order to increase your
chances for getting selected for the interview, you need to get
over 70 percent in the exam. Cut off marks are decided after the
declaration of result and it tends to vary every year.
