How to fill application form of KVPY 2013?



KVPY is one of the most popular exams of India which is conducted by Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru every year. Students studying Science in Class 11, 12 and in the first year of graduation can apply for this exam. The online application form for KVPY 2013 is now available on its official website and students can apply for this exam only through online mode. The last date for filling online application form of KVPY 2013 is 29 August 2013. Selected students in KVPY are awarded fellowships. Before filling application form of KVPY 2013, you must read this article to avoid errors. Any mistake in the KVPY application form can result into its rejection. Before filling online application form, you must ensure that you have following things with you. 

·         Photograph: A copy of your passport-size photograph (size should be between 1 kb to 150 kb) in .jpg or .gif format. Ensure that the photograph is clear and not too big on the computer screen (ideal size 150px wide and 180px high on screen).

·         Signature: A soft copy of scanned signature in .jpg or .gif format.

·         Printer: Ensure that you have a printer to take out printout of completed KVPY application form. This copy should be sent to KVPY office.


Let us see how to fill the online application form of KVPY 2013.

1)      For filling KVPY 2013 online application form visit http://www.kvpy.org.in. 

2)      At the bottom of the site there is a link to fill online application form. Click on this link to proceed further.


3)      A screen will appear with some instructions, read these instructions carefully. At the bottom, check two boxes as shown in the picture and click on continue. By checking these boxes you declare that you will download your hall ticket from second week of October onwards and that you are an Indian citizen. Only Indian citizen can apply for this exam. 
     

4)      In the next screen you need to select your stream. After selecting your stream, click on go

5)      Now enter your personal details

6)      If you have received grades in Class 10 board exam then convert them into percentage

7)      Now enter details of your Class 12 marks and present Institution. Upload your photo and signature and click on preview

8)      If you are satisfied with all entries then submit the form and take a printout of the completed form. 


Note:
1)      Never try to correct any details of the form manually.

2)   If you found any error in your form then fill another application form by following above procedures. And send only that form to KVPY office that is error-free.

3)      Incomplete/Incorrect application form will be rejected and form fee will be forfeited.

4)      Application form without exam fee will be rejected.

UPSC Prelims 2024 postponed due to Lok Sabha Election
